Child Development Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Child Development Specialist to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our early years education programs and contributing to the growth and well-being of our young pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons and activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Work closely with small groups or individual pupils, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs and abilities.
- Assist with maintaining a safe and organized learning environment that promotes children's curiosity and creativity.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement strategies that support pupil progress and achievement.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting is essential.
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of child development milestones and the EYFS curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and pupils.
