About the Role:
Doncaster Council is seeking dedicated Residential Child Care Officers to join our Good and Outstanding-rated children's homes. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing safe, nurturing residential environments for children in need. With a strong focus on staff development and support, we offer a comprehensive induction program and ongoing training to ensure you have the skills and confidence to excel in this challenging yet rewarding role.

Responsibilities:
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Developing and maintaining effective relationships with children, parents, and other professionals
  2. Creating and implementing individualized care plans that promote growth and healing
  3. Providing emotional support and guidance to children in care

What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £28,176 - £31,101 per annum, plus benefits such as South Yorkshire Pension Authority contributions, overtime paid at time and a quarter, and potential total compensation package. You will also have access to regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career progression.
