Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate delivery dates with factories and coordinate the raising of purchase orders.
  • Establish and maintain close communication with suppliers to ensure smooth delivery and quality standards.
  • Accurately update and maintain purchase order information and shipment schedules.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and the Design team to review product sample comments and packaging requirements.
  • Track and update shipping schedules and cross-check packing lists against scheduled shipments.
  • Liaise with wholesale teams to address commercial decisions on quality issues and delivery delays.
  • Proactively follow up on orders with factories and chase shipment samples, QC reports, and other documents for approval.
  • Conduct quality checks and measure shipment samples against approved product samples and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy product-based production role.
  • Experience working with factories and suppliers in the Far East and India is highly advantageous.
  • Mandarin Chinese language ability is a plus but not essential.
  • Understanding of QC and experience working with 3rd party testing houses.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills both externally and internally.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Willingness to adapt and take on new challenges, with a drive to continually improve.
  • Enthusiasm, self-confidence, and self-motivation.
  • A passion for production.
