About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at March Recruitment. As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational performance of the Quality Assurance (QA) function, ensuring the successful delivery of business strategies and objectives, whilst adhering to regulatory compliance and achieving commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain departmental strategy to meet business requirements and customer deliverables, ensuring departmental performance against goals.
  2. Develop and assist in the QA function to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  3. Actively support the continual improvement of internal systems.
  4. Ensure compliance with current and future GMP legislation.
  5. Respond to enquiries in a timely manner, providing advice on Quality requirements to maintain the company's reputation for customer service and technical acumen.
  6. Assess and make decisions relating to Quality, GMP, and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) related issues.
  7. Write and review Quality documentation, including SOPs, incidents, complaints, risk assessments, change controls, and deviations.
  8. Involvement with technical customer queries and product investigations.
  9. Support document management system and archiving activities under QA responsibility.
  10. Respond to suspended and revoked licenses alerts and perform non-compliance checks for API/Excipient suppliers.
  11. Respond to and circulate internally MHRA Recall Alerts and notifications.
  12. Review supplier and customer-related documents to aid in the approval of suppliers and customers.
