We're looking for a talented Reservations Sales Agent to join our team at The Standard London. As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for handling room and restaurant bookings, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Your Role:
As a Reservations Sales Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, handling a range of booking enquiries over the phone, via email, or through online booking platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring all guest needs and room requirements are recorded, and providing information on our rooms, restaurants, and bars to identify future selling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle room and restaurant bookings, including individual and group bookings
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest enquiries and resolving any issues
- Ensure all guest needs and room requirements are recorded, using our Opera system
- Provide information on our rooms, restaurants, and bars to identify future selling opportunities
- Work collaboratively with our reservations team to ensure seamless guest experiences
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Rooms or Restaurant Reservations Agent or Host/ess, ideally in a similar lifestyle or boutique hotel sector
- Highly social, motivated, and proactive, with a natural ability for sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine relationships with guests
- Fluency in English is essential, with any additional languages a big plus
- Flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to work shifts, including occasional weekend cover
