Trade Counter Sales Manager

Sikla UK & Ireland is launching a new trade counter in Milton Keynes, offering its pipe fitting products to local MEP contractors. This presents an opportunity for someone with retail experience in this industry to manage and expand the company's sales area as a standalone business unit.
Job OverviewThe Trade Counter Manager oversees daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service and inventory management. They collaborate with other departments to establish processes that meet sales targets.
- Establishing required resources and investments for proposal development
- Understanding customer requirements and providing internal feedback on replenishment needs
- Processing orders, collecting payments, and managing cash reconciliations
- Communicating internal replenishment needs and customer feedback for decision-making on new products
This role requires close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to promote the new trade counter and drive customer engagement through sales promotions, events, and initiatives. The successful candidate will also contribute to the promotion of the Sikla brand in the local market and among contractors.
Key Responsibilities- Minimum 2 years' experience in retail or a related environment, within the piping and fittings industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ERP software applications
- Clear understanding of commercial concept development
- Strong sales and organizational skills
