We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Holbrooks Health Team. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional service to our patients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm and welcoming experience for all callers and visitors to the surgery.
- Act as the main point of contact for patients, visitors, and general enquiries, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work closely with the management team to develop and maintain skills in using all relevant practice software and equipment, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information, booking, and monitoring systems.
- Liaise effectively with various teams within Primary and Secondary Care, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a NHS setting, such as a POD, Hospital, or GP Surgery.
- Knowledge of EMIS Web, Choose & Book Referral System, and AccuRx.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
