About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our bank team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a student working in this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a wide range of inpatient and outpatient specialties while earning a competitive hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record baseline observations for patients under your care, including vital signs and other relevant data.
  • Escalate any concerns or issues related to patient care to registered staff members, such as nurses or doctors.
  • Provide holistic care to meet the individual needs of patients, including personal care, continence assistance, and mealtime support.
  • Contribute to a clean and safe environment by cleaning equipment and ward areas as needed.
  • Process and handle clinical samples and swabs in accordance with hospital protocols.
