Assistant Night Operations Manager

At Rethink, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Night Manager to join our team. As a key member of our night operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our hotel operations during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage the night team, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration between day and night shifts.
- Ensure the safe-keeping and administration of the main DM safe and all monies during the night.
- Train and develop night staff to support the Night Manager in achieving business objectives.
- Manage hotel availability to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Ensure the night team is equipped to manage guest expectations, concerns, and queries.
- Manage operating systems, including Opera, CRS, Micros, and Techlive.
- Deliver efficient accident reporting and First Aid.
- Adhere to all credit and financial procedures.
- Ensure the smooth running and delivery of all night audit requirements.
- Develop good working relationships with support teams and other M&C night teams.
- Organize departmental rotas and staff holiday requests.
- Ensure night staff attendance at statutory training.
- Responsible for the safe service of alcohol.
- Previous experience as a Night Manager in a 4-star hotel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good knowledge of health and safety.
