Construction Safety Professional

We are recruiting for a Construction Safety Professional to join our consultancy team based in Chesterfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing health and safety advice to our clients across various sectors.
Responsibilities:- Conduct site audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and implement safety plans to prevent accidents and promote a positive safety culture.
- Vet subcontractors and lead accident investigations to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
- Assess and review contractors' Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Manage workplace transport, including highway interfaces, to ensure safe transportation of personnel and equipment.
- Train subcontractors on site to educate them on safety procedures and best practices.
- Oversee high-risk activities on site, conduct emergency drills, and monitor permitting requirements.
