Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Mental Health and Complex Needs Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and empowering our staff to deliver exceptional support to our service users.


Your Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and develop a diverse team to deliver person-centered and holistic support to service users with complex mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to meet the cultural needs of our service users.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to design and deliver services that meet the needs of our service users.
  • Recruit, induct, and train staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide regular supervision and support to staff to ensure they are equipped to meet the needs of our service users.
  • Monitor staff performance and address any issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling program of user activities to promote recovery and prevent social exclusion.
  • Ensure that all service users have an up-to-date needs/risk assessment and support plan in place.
  • Consult and involve service users in all aspects of service management.

Requirements



  • Experience of working with service users with complex mental health needs, particularly those from African, Caribbean, and Arabic speaking backgrounds.
  • Proven experience of leading and managing a team to deliver high-quality services.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies to meet the cultural needs of service users.
  • Excellent knowledge of mental health legislation and policies.
  • Ability to positively promote the organization at external events.
  • Experience of working with volunteers and developing programs to enhance service delivery.
