Mitie at MOD Corsham is seeking a skilled Transportation Operations Manager to provide exceptional leadership and ensure consistent application of department standards and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Line Management: Oversee the onsite Driver team, ensuring effective management of people, including performance reviews, training, HR processes, and safety.
- Fleet Management: Manage fleet/hire vehicle operations, including equipment allocations and transportation of passengers.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure solid knowledge of transport compliance and regulatory requirements, maintaining KPI standards.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience working in a dynamic transport office, preferably with a military background and experience in military transport.
- Qualifications: Full UK Driving Licence (no points or convictions) and willingness to participate in training for PSV and HGV licences.
- Desirable Qualifications: NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications, experience using a tachograph, experience of driving mini-buses, and an in-date Driver Qualification and Driver Card.
