Job Title: HGV Technician Coventry

Are you passionate about working with commercial vehicles and ensuring they are in top condition? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of vehicle technology? We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at our Volvo Truck and Bus Centre in Coventry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on HGVs to the highest standard, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions, using manufacturer's procedures and Volvo Standard Times.
  • Work collaboratively with the Parts Team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Support the development of young trainees and apprentices.
Requirements:
  • City and Guilds, NVQ3, or equivalent qualification in HGV maintenance.
  • Relevant experience in the commercial vehicle industry, with a strong understanding of vehicle technology.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
