People Operations Coordinator

Ampian HR is a dynamic organisation based in Erdington, Birmingham, offering a unique opportunity for a People Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR systems and data.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR systems and records
- Report data and create complex Excel spreadsheets
- Develop job descriptions and person specifications
- Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including preparing job adverts, shortlisting and sifting CVs, interviewing and selecting candidates
- Produce and issue offer letters and employee contracts
- Liaise with hiring managers for vacancies in head office and stores
- Induct new employees into the company
- Ensure all new starter paperwork is completed and relevant information is provided to payroll
- Support and lead formal meetings, such as disciplinary, grievances, and flexible working applications
- Organise HR documents in preparation for meetings
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working within an HR environment
- Familiarity with the full recruitment and selection cycle
- Advanced skills in Excel, including Macros, complex formulas, V-Look Ups, and combining multiple cells of data
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Well-organised and able to prioritise workloads
- Up-to-date knowledge of legislation
Ampian HR offers a competitive salary based on experience, ranging from £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and performance. Additionally, we offer:
