About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in the Paediatric and Adult Learning Disability Transition service. As a Physiotherapist in this role, you will work with children and young people with disabilities, providing expert care and support to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload, working in the community and in schools to provide physiotherapy services to children and young people with disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive service to children and young people with complex needs.
  • Contribute to the supervision of support staff and students, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams, working with other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated service to children and young people with disabilities.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate training courses in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Experience of working in an NHS environment as a Physiotherapist, with a focus on Paediatric and Adult Learning Disability Transition services.
  • Excellent clinical reasoning skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work with children, young people, and their families.
