Physiotherapist for Paediatric and Adult Learning Disability Transition

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team in the Paediatric and Adult Learning Disability Transition service. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurological physiotherapy and experience working with children and young adults with disabilities.
Main Responsibilities
The Physiotherapist will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients in the community, including schools, homes, day centres, and sports centres. They will also provide cover on the acute paediatric wards at Glan Clwyd Hospital and contribute to the supervision of support staff and students. Additionally, the Physiotherapist will work with children and young adults up to the age of 25 who have a learning disability during their transition to the Community Adult Learning Disability team.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have postgraduate training in physiotherapy, HCPC registration, and evidence of continuing professional development. They will also have experience working in an NHS environment, significant post-registration experience, and evidence of core rotations. A strong understanding of complex conditions, anatomy, and physiology is essential, as well as excellent clinical reasoning skills and the ability to work autonomously.
