Safeguarding Team Manager Role

Are you a skilled Social Work professional looking for a challenging role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join our Early Help & Safeguarding Hub team at Hull City Council.
">Job Summary: As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the management team's operational management of both EHASH and EDT. This includes supervising staff, overseeing incoming children's contacts, and making informed decisions regarding the screening of worries and support requests for children and young people.
">Responsibilities:
- Support and supervise staff to ensure effective delivery of services
- Oversight of incoming children's contacts and decision-making on support requests
- Chair strategy meetings for children who may have suffered or are at risk of suffering significant harm
- Allocate children for support to the wider Early Help and Children Safeguarding Service
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work, registration with Social Work England, and an enhanced DBS certificate. You should also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to make informed decisions, and experience working independently and collaboratively within multi-agency setups.
