About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Digital Marketing and Heritage Officer to join our successful Museums and Heritage Team at Swindon Borough Council.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting some of Swindon's premier heritage attractions by delivering high-quality marketing and business development to reinforce the Council's heritage and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a successful marketing strategy to increase attendance and income to the visitor attractions
  • Manage websites, social media, print marketing, and PR to cater for the needs of our corporate and community sectors
  • Plan, develop, and implement a programme of marketing activities to attract and retain audiences and raise levels of attendance and income
  • Work closely with the team to achieve optimum levels of customer satisfaction, enjoyment, and retention
Requirements
  • Significant experience in digital marketing management
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends when required
