The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting some of Swindon's premier heritage attractions by delivering high-quality marketing and business development to reinforce the Council's heritage and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities include increasing attendance and income to the visitor attractions, promoting and developing new business within the hotel, conferencing, and events facilities, and achieving optimum levels of customer satisfaction, enjoyment, and retention.

Working primarily at Lydiard Park, with occasional work at Museum & Art Swindon and STEAM Museum, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing websites, social media, print marketing, and PR that cater for the needs of our corporate and community sectors.

You will plan, develop, and implement a successful and inspirational programme of marketing activities that are appropriately branded, financially viable, cost-effective, and sustainable, in order to attract and retain audiences and raise levels of attendance and income to deliver heritage and commercial objectives.

The successful candidate will be flexible to work evenings and weekends when required to support the museum and heritage programme.

Must be fluent in the English language as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act for the effective performance of a customer-facing role.
