About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Public Health Specialist to join our team at Hunter AHP. As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of families and individuals in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseloads and deliver the Healthy Child programme to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to champion health and well-being initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote physical, social, and psychological well-being for all.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to families, individuals, and groups on health-related matters.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of health policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate diploma or certificate in SCPHN Health Visitor or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in multi-agency working and child protection.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with current health agendas.
  • Ability to travel to various locations for work duties.
