About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated School Staff Nurse to join our dedicated team at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to children and families in North Kent, working closely with local schools to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent illness.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing clinical leadership and expertise to the school nursing team
- Developing and implementing evidence-based care plans to support the health and wellbeing of children and families
- Building strong relationships with local schools and community partners to promote health education and prevention
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support
Requirements
- Registered Nurse or Midwife with current NMC registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals
- A strong understanding of child health and development, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a community setting
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
