Wayman Learning Trust is seeking an experienced SEN English Teacher to join their team at a specialist school in London. As an SEN English Teacher, you will teach English to students with a range of special educational needs using differentiated strategies to engage and inspire learners. This is a unique opportunity to help students achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:- Teach English to students with special educational needs using adaptive methods to support learning.
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to individual learning styles.
- Collaborate with the SENCo teaching assistants and parents to ensure comprehensive support.
- Track student progress and implement interventions where necessary.
- Contribute to a positive inclusive classroom environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching English in an SEN setting, knowledge of SEN best practices and curriculum adaptation, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a clear DBS check, and the right to work in the UK. The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
