Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:
Mitie is currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our Electrical Team at our branch in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance of various commercial and industrial buildings in our client's portfolio.
- Conduct inspections and testing, including emergency light testing, PAT testing, RCD testing, and installation of new equipment or replacement/repair of lamps and sockets.
- Work on own initiative but also as part of a team, assisting other trades when required.
- Deal with clients and suppliers effectively, using good written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements:
- Carry out duties with due regard to current good practice and in line with current Health and Safety legislation.
- Previous experience with all types of access equipment is advantageous.
- Experience with commercial and industrial installations, including testing and inspection.
- Competent with testing and inspection, holding a 2391 or equivalent qualification.
- Fully conversant with latest wiring regulations and able to complete NICEIC Certificates.
- Manual Handling ability and ability to work in a demanding and busy area.
- Basic computer knowledge is desirable.
- Part of the on-call rota and able to work flexible hours.
- Diligent, professional, and intuitive with a strong customer care focus.
Person Specification:
- 18th Edition in electrical installation.
- NVQ Level 3 in electro technical services - Electrical Installation.
- City & Guilds 2391 testing and inspection.
- City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2377.
- Previous maintenance experience working in a commercial environment.
- Flexible and able to carry out duties not specific to your trade.
- Hold a full clean driving licence.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
- Baseline security clearance is advantageous.
