Advanced Physiotherapy Specialist

Are you a physiotherapist looking to work in a large dynamic teaching hospital based in an exciting city with good transport links? We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic HCPC registered physiotherapist to join our multi-professional medical therapy team on an exciting medical rotation based at Manchester Royal Infirmary. The rotations include acute medical specialties such as renal, acute, emergency, and older person's medicine. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Frailty team and develop the therapy provision.
The successful candidate will have previous postgraduate clinical experience as a junior in a broad rotational post. They will demonstrate specialist knowledge of physiotherapy assessment and treatment techniques. A working knowledge of local and national policies and procedures is also essential. Additionally, they will have evidence of continual professional development and experience of interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary team working.
Main Duties- Assess patients' needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Work closely with the Frailty team to develop the therapy provision
- Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive working environment

Required Skills and Qualifications- Recognised BSC Honours degree in physiotherapy or equivalent
- State registration via Health and Care Professions Council
- Evidence of relevant postgraduate training
