Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to lead the development and implementation of our Surveying Services proposition across the UK. This is a key role that will involve working closely with internal stakeholders to integrate surveying services into existing Marsh services, enhancing the overall client experience.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in surveying services, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong leadership abilities. They will be responsible for overseeing the initial development, strategic direction, operational management, and successful delivery of our surveying proposition across various UK sectors, including Corporate and Commercial, Education, High New Worth, and Real Estate clients.

In this role, you will work closely with marketing and business development teams to promote surveying services, generate leads, and expand revenue opportunities. You will also provide expert guidance and support to clients, addressing their complex property claims, insurance response, and other related needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of our surveying proposition across the UK.
  • Integrate surveying services into existing Marsh services to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Work closely with marketing and business development teams to promote surveying services and generate leads.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients on complex property claims and insurance response.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as surveying, engineering, or a related discipline with RICS or similar professional status.
  • Proven surveying services experience in the insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to insurance surveying services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
