Derby, Derby, United Kingdom Vetisco Full time

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Pride Veterinary Referrals. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for supporting surgical patients throughout their treatment journey, including administering care such as imaging, laser therapy, wound management, and monitoring sedations and anaesthesia.

This role requires strong communication skills, with some client contact involved, where you will be responsible for contacting clients to arrange appointments and admits/discharges, as well as liaising with referral reception to assist with emergency cases and filtering through advice emails from referring vets and clients.

As a proud supporter of ongoing learning and development, we offer our RVNs access to our in-house Advanced Anaesthesia Programme, which provides nurses with the chance to join a training and mentorship programme with our Anaesthesia Specialists.
