Veterinary Care Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at GLG Vets in Derby, Derbyshire. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week over four days with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £60,000 - £75,000 per year, reflecting your expertise and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality veterinary care, including consultations and surgical procedures.
- Ensure the health and well-being of all animals under your care.
- Collaborate with veterinary assistants, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and manage client communications effectively.
Requirements:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine and active license to practice in the UK.
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and medical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to animal care.
