Venue & Events Manager
We are working with a fantastic venue in Nottingham who are seeking a skilled Venue & Events Manager to drive revenue and curate a creative public events program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding targets and be able to think outside the box for new ways to generate business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively drive sales for the site, identifying new opportunities to increase revenue
- Curate and plan a creative and exciting event program
- Prospecting, executing sales presentations and closing event sales
- Timely planning and coordination of all events to meet quarterly deadlines
- Maintain a strong presence at events and delegate to wider team
- Achieve monthly and yearly revenue targets
- Build strong internal and external relationships
- Maintain an in-depth awareness of current and upcoming trends
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven track sales record within events / hospitality
- Ability to work on own initiative and manage your own pipeline
- Excellent negotiator
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Passion for events
- Enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated
- Ability to think outside the box and get creative
