Job Title: Control Room Strategy Manager

We are seeking a strategic thinker to join our team as a Control Room Strategy Manager.

**Company Overview:**

We have been engaged by an international banking group to establish a control room in the UK. This requires a strong leader who can develop and implement strategies to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risks.

**Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and Implementing Strategies: Design and implement strategies to ensure regulatory compliance, manage information barriers, and identify potential conflicts of interest.
  • Leading the Control Room Function: Build the control room department from scratch, overseeing the tracking, handling, and safeguarding of material non-public information (MNPI).
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor to business units and senior management, fostering a culture of compliance and providing strategic guidance on regulatory and reputational risks.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in a senior strategy role within an investment bank or financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of information barriers, regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA), and conflict management practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a track record of building teams and implementing processes.

**Salary:** £140,000 - £170,000 per annum, depending on experience.
