Barchester Healthcare is a leading provider of healthcare services, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Nurse Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration to take on a leadership position within our nursing team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our nursing team as a General Nurse Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring the delivery of nursing care that meets the needs of our residents. You will also implement person-centred care plans, recruit, train, and mentor staff, and build relationships with local regulators and social services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents
  • Manage a team of nurses to ensure high-quality care is delivered
  • Recruit, train, and mentor new staff members
  • Collaborate with local regulators and social services to ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN)
  • Experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments
  • An up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
