About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at Hernshead Recruitment Ltd. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate quotations for compressor packages to global customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Interpret customer application requirements and provide quotations for compressor packages.
  • Deal with technical and commercial queries from customers.
  • Select appropriate materials and components for new compressors and compressor packages.
  • Perform calculations to size equipment and estimate costs.
  • Write RFQs for suppliers and maintain accurate records of opportunities and bids.
Requirements
  • Higher education or training in a physical science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • Knowledge of rotating machinery, fluid handling equipment, and sales and marketing techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and Project.
