We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Officer to join our team in Tower Hamlets. As a Behaviour Support Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring the wellbeing of students.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time term-time only Behaviour Support Officer role, commencing in October and running until the end of the academic year. The role pays £450-£500 per week, paid weekly on a PAYE basis.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and manage behaviour across the school, including patrolling corridors and providing on-the-spot support.
- Work with students to de-escalate potential disruptions and promote a safe and productive learning environment.
- Update school behaviour logs and record any incidents efficiently.
- Escort pupils who are out of lessons, to their appropriate classroom and assist with lunchtime and afterschool detentions.
- Support EAL students from a variety of backgrounds.
GCSE Maths and English are required for this role.
