Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a mixed 11-18 Secondary School in Tower Hamlets. The successful candidate will have experience working with challenging students and be able to build lasting relationships.

The Behaviour Mentor will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide individualised support to students who require additional help with their behaviour. This will involve working with students in and outside of the classroom, using effective communication skills to de-escalate conflicts and promote positive behaviour.

• Provide individualised support to students who require additional help with their behaviour
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
• Use effective communication skills to de-escalate conflicts and promote positive behaviour
• Build lasting relationships with students and staff

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience working with challenging students
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build lasting relationships
• Experience working in an education setting
