Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Front of House Assistant to join our team at Gather & Gather. As a Front of House Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer has a positive experience in our cafe.

Key Tasks:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with their orders, ensuring that they are taken correctly and delivered with a smile.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, following recipes and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, to ensure that our customers receive their drinks quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitization standards in the cafe, adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the till, accurately processing payments and maintaining a secure and organized cash handling system.
  • Assist with stock management and inventory control, ensuring that our cafe is well-stocked and that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Support the kitchen and service teams as needed, ensuring that our cafe runs smoothly and efficiently.
