School Site Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a skilled Facilities Management Assistant to join our team at St Bede Church of England Primary School in Winchester. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our school site.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and maintenance of our school buildings and grounds, as well as managing contractors and liaising with staff and local authorities as necessary.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about facilities management and wants to work in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the security of the school buildings and site, liaising with staff, contractors and the local authority as appropriate.
- Undertake minor repairs, maintenance and decorating.
- Manage contractors as appropriate.
- Liaise with the SLT about lettings and wider use of the site, working flexibly to meet the needs of the children and the school.
- Have a key holder responsibility and be prepared to attend out of hours emergency call outs.
