Global Travel Sales Professional

Recruitment Avenue is seeking a skilled Global Travel Sales Professional to join their team in Luton. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and an interest in travel, with at least 1 year's sales experience.
The role involves selling Worldwide luxury Holidays, extras such as car hire & insurance, and airline invoice processing. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking bookings in Tour Operators / Airline booking systems and once fully trained, booking flights on a GDS.
The Travel Sales Executive will work in a brilliant team of travel consultants, providing an excellent level of customer service and selling skills. The salary for this role is £25k basic + commission OTE £40K.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selling Worldwide luxury Holidays
- Selling extras such as car hire & insurance
- Airline invoice processing
- Ticket checking against the booking & filing
- Check bookings in Tour Operators / Airline booking systems
- Once fully trained to book flights on a GDS
Key Skills:
- At least 1 year's sales experience
- Sales focused along with providing an excellent level of customer service
- Extremely good telephone and e-mail manner
