Rakuten Symphony is a global leader in e-commerce, and we're looking for a talented Sales Leader to join our team in Europe. As a Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for driving growth and revenue in the region, working closely with our Europe Sales Heads to achieve our business objectives.

We're seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in leadership roles, consultative Telco Cloud software product sales, and Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) at scale. Your expertise in managing and growing cross-disciplinary organizations, including Sales, Pre-Sales, and collaborating with Engineering and Customer Success, will be invaluable to our team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a sales strategy to achieve OB and Revenue targets for the region
  • Collaborating with region dedicated pre-sales/solution-engineering to win new deals
  • Managing and growing a team of sales professionals to achieve business objectives
  • Providing regular, transparent reporting of sales activities and progress in the region

We're looking for someone with a proven track record of success in the Telco/CSP market, with a strong network of CxO contacts and the ability to initiate conversations at the top levels of customer and partner decision-making. Requirements:

  • 15+ years of professional experience in leadership roles, consultative Telco Cloud software product sales, and Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) at scale
  • At least 5 years of experience in-region, specifically around Telco Cloud, Orchestration, and Virtualisation/HCI sales in the Telco/CSP market
  • Experience managing and growing cross-disciplinary organizations, including Sales, Pre-Sales, and collaborating with Engineering and Customer Success
  • MBA or equivalent degree preferred
  • Fluent in English, with any other European language, especially Spanish, an advantage
