As a key member of the Brown & Brown (Europe) team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our Underwriting platform across the South West region.

The Regional Sales Leader will be responsible for managing a specific geographical panel of distribution partners, achieving budgeted income objectives, and developing strategic relationships across all allocated distribution partners.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a comprehensive understanding of general insurance, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to analyze data and form recommendations.

You will work closely with the Head of Sales and Distribution to ensure decisions are made efficiently and effectively, and you will be responsible for ensuring that you and your accounts have an excellent understanding of the Underwriting strategy and appetite.

The ideal candidate will be commercially savvy, able to evaluate what will work financially and what will not, and will have a proven track record of negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely
