Protection Specialist

At Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG), we're seeking a skilled Protection Specialist to join our Commercial Niche Practice Team in Ipswich. As a trusted partner to numerous organizations, we provide specialist products that ensure competitive premiums and robust insurance coverage.
As a key member of our team, your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, retaining valued clients, and assisting Account Executives in winning new clients as part of our growth strategy.
- Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with clients, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Prepare quality client documents, obtain renewal terms, and seek alternative quotations to deliver the best outcome.
- Handle mid-term adjustments proactively and respond to client queries.
- Record client details accurately and enter them onto the system.
- Expertly handle policy-related queries and confirm cover with insurers.
- Process policies, chase outstanding documentation, and prepare debit notes and summaries of cover.
- Address account queries and credit control matters promptly, highlighting concerns where necessary.
- Align with key legal and regulatory policies.
We're looking for a skilled individual with prior experience handling commercial clients in a broking environment. You should be risk-aware, have a 100% customer-centric approach, and be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with knowledge of the commercial insurance industry.

- Proficient in MS Office and Acturis.
