Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist Coordinator to join our team at Suffolk County Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services to children and young people, working in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and SCC policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based practice and maintain NMC registration
  • Work in accordance with SCC policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Maintain customer confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines
  • Keep accurate and timely records of work with children, young people, and families
  • Contribute to training and ongoing supervision of Specialist Learning Support Assistants
  • Review and develop training packages for the Specialist Learning Support Assistants
  • Undertake risk assessments and individual school health care plans for children with complex health needs
  • Participate in quality assurance processes and contribute to the development of the service

Requirements
