Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Care Assistant with our leading organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Supervise and lead shifts to maintain high standards of care.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with families, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Administer and record medication accurately and safely.
  • Identify and mitigate potential hazards through regular risk assessments.
  • Support residents with daily needs and promote independence in collaboration with care assistants.
  • Contribute to service development by working closely with the leadership team.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional approach at all times.

About Our Ideal Candidate

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care is desirable but not essential.
  • You must be well-organized, IT literate, and able to allocate and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others is essential.
  • A good understanding of care planning processes is required.
  • You must be experienced in administering medication or be willing to undertake training.
  • Above all, you must have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling.
