Job Description
We're seeking a talented individual to join our Monitoring Trustee team in London. As a member of our global Monitoring Trustee practice, you'll manage complex compliance projects, acting as the eyes and ears of the competition authorities.
You'll take ownership of overseeing the implementation of structural and/or behavioural remedies by large multinational companies. You'll manage multidisciplinary teams and draft regular reports to the competition authorities.
You'll work on high-profile cases involving global and listed companies, reporting to authorities worldwide, including the European Commission, UK Competition and Markets Authority, Federal Trade Commission, and State Administration for Market Regulation.
Your project portfolio will include Big Tech regulation and various sectors, such as financial services, aviation, consumer goods, and utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing compliance projects concerning remedy implementation in merger, antitrust, and state aid proceedings.
- Scrutinizing remedy implementation by parties, including divestiture processes, viability assessments, and access provisions.
- Drafting periodic progress reports to competition authorities, liaising with parties and their advisors, and identifying compliance risks.
- Contributing to the growth and global success of the practice by adhering to quality standards, identifying business development opportunities, and participating in networking events.
Qualifications

- Previous experience in Monitoring Trustee assignments.
- Case/project leads working at competition authorities or regulators.
- Compliance leads, consultants, auditors, transaction specialists, and technology experts.
We're looking for a motivated, organized individual with strong analytical skills, a critical eye, and excellent report writing capabilities. You should be willing to take on high levels of responsibility and be a team player who can build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
