Finance Systems Manager

A top-tier international law firm is seeking a highly skilled Finance Systems Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of its Elite 3E system.
This role reports directly to the Head of Finance Systems and is responsible for ensuring seamless integrations, accurate setup documentation, and efficient system performance.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving enhancements and improvements to the Elite 3E system and other core finance platforms within the firm.
Main Responsibilities:- Be the go-to expert for all key finance systems used by the finance team and other stakeholders, maintaining accurate documentation of key setups and known issues.
- Support the finance and senior management teams by extracting and analyzing 3E data, utilizing Microsoft Reporting Services, SQL queries, and creating new automated reports.
- Review current systems and procedures to propose improvements in workflow and reporting, maximizing the benefit of 3E and Microsoft Reporting Services.
- Lead Elite training initiatives, collaborate with the IT team on technical projects, and manage relationships with Thomson Reuters/Elite.
- Develop the Operations Assistants to ensure the team's self-sufficiency and support succession planning, contributing to various ad-hoc projects as needed.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Elite 3E, SQL Server (including advanced data interrogation), and technical knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Power BI.
A strong track record of supporting business data analysis through user-friendly reports and ad-hoc queries, along with excellent knowledge of practice management systems and finance tools, including front-end use of the 3E system and finance processes.
