Safeguarding Lead Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our team at Qualiteach Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a PRU setting, supporting the well-being and safety of students.
About the Role:
- Implement safeguarding policies and procedures in line with Ofsted requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff, students, and parents to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Provide guidance and support on safeguarding practices, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats to student safety.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective multi-agency working.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must have at least 2 years' experience in a safeguarding role.
- Hold extensive knowledge of safeguarding practices and Ofsted requirements.
- Possess a non-judgmental approach to behaviour management.
- Have experience working with children with SEMH.
