About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Manager to join our team at EG Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for championing training and development initiatives that drive business growth and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of our retail teams, including induction, skills development, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions.
  • Lead the Retail L&D Team and provide coaching and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality training programs.
  • Design and deliver training content that is engaging, interactive, and relevant to our business needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with Line Managers to develop and implement succession plans and talent development strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Learning and Development.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering successful training programs that drive business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform training decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership.
  • Flexibility to travel to different locations and work varying hours, as required.
