About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Manager to join our team at Cooplands Bakery. As a key member of our L&D team, you will play a crucial role in championing training and development within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with operational teams to identify training needs and develop solutions
  • Lead the Retail L&D Team and develop meaningful relationships with colleagues
  • Design and facilitate training sessions to promote a learning culture
  • Develop and maintain training records and provide regular reports to stakeholders
  • Support the Personal Development Review (PDR) process and ensure meaningful conversations and SMART development plans
  • Work collaboratively with Line Managers to retain talent and develop a pipeline for internal progression
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years L&D experience
  • Experience of operating in a multi-site business
  • Passionate and motivated to develop people skills
  • Ability to adapt communication and training styles to include remote, virtual, 1:1 and team learning
  • IT literate – excel, PPT, word, SAP Success Factors, e-learning
  • Driver's licence
  • Flexibility with working hours and willing to travel to different locations
