Join Our Team as an Undergraduate Industrial Placement Scientist

We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Global Respiratory Group as an Undergraduate Industrial Placement Scientist. This exciting opportunity will provide you with invaluable experience in a working laboratory, working on the development of respiratory medicines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of analytical methods for orally inhaled drug products.
  • Perform analyses to generate scientific understanding during development of drug product formulations, manufacturing processes, and device optimisation.
  • Process data, highlighting aberrant or suspect results and working with supervisor to investigate.
  • Maintain laboratory documentation in accordance with good documentation practices.
  • Contribute to project delivery by carrying out other tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Registered on an undergraduate chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences related degree program.
  • Completed at least 2 years of study and not graduated at the start of the placement.
  • Familiar with the basic principles of analytical chemistry.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to organise tasks and plan own work to achieve high-quality results in a timely manner.
