Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Dovetail Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to our management team and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK legislation and best practice.
  • Manage all recruitment activities, including job role design, recruitment channels, and interviewing processes.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations, talent management, and performance management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of employee records, including compensation information and payroll changes.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and flexible working.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics, including sickness absence, loyalty awards, and anniversary dates.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies that align with our company values.

Requirements:

  • CIPD qualified or part-qualified.
  • Substantial experience in operational Human Resources, preferably in the Creative Agency sector.
  • Excellent communication and written skills, including one-to-one oral verbal communication, delivering presentations, drafting letters and emails, and writing policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A positive 'can-do' approach.
  • Understanding of current UK Employment Legislation.
  • Ability to identify and provide training solutions.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically with a broad perspective.
  • A practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Team player - ability to work with internal and external colleagues collaboratively and in a team-oriented way.
  • Confidentiality, diplomacy, tact, resilience.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed when under pressure.
  • Ability to meet all deadlines set.
