Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Product Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will work closely with clients and CliniSys team members to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Implementing CliniSys software products at client sites, adhering to department procedures and guidelines.
  2. Providing guidance and advice to clients on workflow planning and best practices for maximum return on investment.
  3. Effectively organizing and prioritizing project tasks to ensure timely completion.
  4. Conducting implementations, demonstrating a thorough understanding of department procedures and guidelines.
  5. Providing continuous evaluation of process improvements through client and departmental feedback.
  6. Conducting training for clients as part of the implementation process.
  7. Independently resolving project issues or escalating to management when necessary.
  8. Guiding clients in their decision-making to achieve maximum efficiency using Sunquest best practice recommendations.
  9. Staying up-to-date on new features, enhancements, versions, and products.
  10. Collaborating with and mentoring other Product Specialists to expand their knowledge and expertise.
  11. Maintaining a high level of commitment to superior customer satisfaction throughout the customer relationship.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience in a healthcare and/or IT/software environment.
  3. Effective writing and communication skills.
  4. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  5. Experience with healthcare information systems or CliniSys software products preferred.
  6. Experience working in a consulting or implementation environment preferred.
  7. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare specialty workflow(s) preferred.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  9. Ability to teach and present in a classroom setting.
  10. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  11. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  12. Ability to effectively communicate with all organizational levels.
