About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Multiple Needs Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) to join our dynamic team at Service Care Solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver holistic, wrap-around support for women with complex needs, including those affected by domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental health challenges, trafficking, and other vulnerabilities.

As part of a pioneering service that supports women to rebuild their lives and achieve sustainable recovery, the Senior Multiple Needs IDVA will work in collaboration with colleagues and partner agencies to offer proactive crisis intervention and advocacy.

This role is open to female applicants only, in line with Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

  • Provide tailored crisis intervention, safety planning, and ongoing support to women experiencing domestic abuse and multiple disadvantages.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of risk and need, developing both short-term and long-term plans to support recovery and reduce harm.
  • Advocate for women's rights across multiple agencies, ensuring access to housing, welfare, legal protections, and healthcare.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and wider partner organizations, maintaining referral routes and enhancing access to support.
  • Participate in multi-agency forums, including safeguarding and Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARACs), to ensure a coordinated response.
  • Provide training and consultations to upskill professionals, raising awareness of domestic violence and improving outcomes for survivors.

Essential Experience:

  • At least two years of experience supporting women experiencing domestic violence and related issues, including forced marriage or honor-based violence.
